    Charlotte J's Note:

Italian style sloppy joes that I saw on Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello today. The CA chili powder is a sweet powder.

Great recipe packed with flavor! I used turkey sausage to lighten it up a bit and used ancho chili powder instead of the New Mexico chili powder. Loved the rich flavor that the wine added. Served sloppy-joe style on whole wheat buns but I think this would make a great pizza sauce too. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

This was delicious. I also used regular chili powder as there is not a lot of variety in this spice where I live. In addition, I made it with ground chicken instead of sausage. Oddly enough, it still tasted like sausage but the chicken is more healthy for me.

This was great I used regular chili powder because I couldn't find the other ones and it tasted great. Not as quick as manwich but definatly worth the extra work.
