I have this smoothie every day . It is easy to make and tastes good. It is also filling. The ingredients are easy to come by all year round and quite economical too.
- 1 apple, cored
- 1⁄2 frozen banana
- 3⁄4 cup low-fat yogurt
- 1⁄2 cup frozen apple juice (I buy a bottle of apple juice and freeze 1/2 cup measures in little snap lock bags)
- sugar substitute, to taste (I use Splenda)
- 1 tablespoon LSA (Linseeds, sunflower and almonds mix)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- put roughly chopped apple, banana and yoghurt in blender. Whizz till fruit are well chopped. Add rest of ingreients and blend until smooth.
