Slightly Spicy Spaghetti Sauce

"After ten years of looking for a spaghetti sauce recipe that I could get DH to eat, he brought this home from work and declared "I Like This"! Yea! It's a recipe from his co-worker, Darren. He uses deer meat but I use beef. I'm guessing at the servings, as I freeze what we don't eat after the initial cooking."

• Serves: 10

ingredients

• 3 lbs hamburger
• 1⁄2 onion, chopped
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
• 1 teaspoon Tony Chachere's Seasoning
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
• 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
• 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato puree
• 1 (10 ounce) can rotel (Tomatoes and Green Chili's)
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon Tony Chachere's Seasoning
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1⁄2 cup onion, chopped

directions

1. Sauté hamburger with next 5 ingredients and drain.
2. Add the rest of ingredients and simmer for 1 hour.
