I have been making this dip for a few years and it realy is yummy. I only use brown sugar and haven't noticed much of a difference. Two helpful hints though: #1 Chilling it a couple hours does make a difference and once chilled give it another stir. #2 If you are cutting up apples and they will be sitting out, pour some pineapple juice over them to prevent them from turning brown.

I made this as one of our desserts for Thanksgiving. It is very good, but very rich and sweet-- a little goes a long way! I served with apples and honey graham sticks. Thanks for sharing!

This is one of the best recipes EVER. I used crushed home-made toffee instead of the skor chips & Granny Smith apples to dip. I had to make separate bowls for my dh & myself, or I'm afraid we would have had a problem. This was such a hit - I may have to have people over just so I can serve it. Thank you So, So much for sharing this & I hope many others discover this awesome recipe.
