One of my family's favorites.


  1. Combine rice mix with butter in large skillet.
  2. Saute over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently. Slowly stir in water, seasoning packet and canned tomatoes, undrained and chopped. Bring to a boil.
  3. Cover; reduce heat to low. Simmer 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender.
