Made this tonight for me and my DH. We both really enjoyed it! I had to use all ground beef and macaroni noodles instead, but it turned out great. (Oh, I sprinkled some shredded mozzarella over the top; just personal preference.)Such an easy recipe, and much less expensive than a pan of lasagna, with the same taste. Thanks! Will definitely become a regular.

Have made this several times. A big hit with the husband. I sub ground turkey (because I always have it).

This was so easy! I could not give it five stars since I do not like Italian Sausage and my noodles took longer to cook, but it was so easy!

All the yumminess of lasagna with only 1 skillet to clean and no baking! We loved this. I made this just as written but used ricotta instead of cottage cheese. Thanx for a wonderful easy meal! I'll be making this again.

This is the best recipe for skillet lasagna I have found yet, and my husband is quite the picky lasagna-eater! I made this in my electric skillet, and made several substitutions: 1) 1/4 cup of Italian sausage instead of 1/2 cup; 2) Omitted the jar of mushrooms (allergy); 3) 1 cup of cottage cheese instead of 2 cups. Can't wait to make this one again!

All in all it is a very easy and tasty recipe. I also used only ground beef as we all dislike sausage and I left out the peppers and mushrooms due to more pickyness. Ahem...however, it turned out great! I added some reduced fat parmesan cheese to the sauce while it was cooking, VERY GOOD!

Yummy!! Just like lasagna without all the wait. I skipped the pepper and onion because I was blessed with a very picky family. But followed the recipe other than that. My noodles did take about 20 minutes to cook, so prepare for that. Thanx Karen!

I'm going to add stars the next time I make this (there will be a next time!), but I'm writing this in case it helps someone else: I only had ground beef so I used a pound of that and a 16oz box of lasagna noodles. Step 4 says to "stir in remaining ingredients", so I did just that, and a little while later, I saw that step 7 says to stir in the cottage cheese--yikes! Needless to say, the cottage cheese became one with the sauce since it cooked the entire time, which turned out to be a lot longer than 12 minutes for the noodles to get tender and the sauce to thicken (maybe the cottage cheese slowed things down?). In the end, it turned out fine (yummy even), but I suggest editing step #4 to say "EXCEPT the cottage cheese" to save other people the frustration and extended cooking time I experienced.

I made this with ground beef, no cottage cheese, and mozzarella on top. Turned out pretty tasty. Reminded me of a basic tomato, noodle, beef hotdish.

I made this quite awhile ago at the request of my niece and didn't get around to reviewing it. Very tasty, quick and easy kid friendly meal. I used 1/2 italian sausage instead of just hamburger and used an italian cheese blend. Did this in the electric skillet.

We loved it. It is so easy and can be adapted to more servings if needed. I didn't use cottage cheese because I didn't have it and no one was the wiser.
