I love this recipe. It is, by far, my all-time favorite comfort food in fall/winter (or anytime, for that matter!). It's super easy and is restaurant quality food.<br/><br/>I have never made any modifications to this recipe - I've never needed to.<br/><br/>Woohoo!
I normally don't rate a recipe when I have made changes, but I will with this one! My DH raved abut this dish!! I make a habit of trying new recipes that will use up what I have in stock. I used a wide egg noodle...had only crushed tomatoes on hand.....used dried basil...added some mushrooms ...had some fresh whipping cream that had been whipped...and fresh mozarella cheese. I can only imagine what this would taste like if I used the proper ingredients that was posted! I thought the serving portions were definately out and could easily have feed 6-8 people with maybe a salad or garlic bread added (depending on appetites and gender) I know my SIL's would scoft this down in a flash! Great for week night or casual meals. But the best part of this dish was that it was fast and easy! I would certainly do this recipe again
