Oh my goodness, if you love almonds, you've got to make this recipe. I read the reviews for this recipe on foodnetwork.com. I cut back on the sugar to 1 1/4 c. My almonds were not very fresh so I just used a sprinkling of them on top. It is a soft, chewy shortbread rather than a crisp shortbread. It is excellent.
