Simple and Yummie!! The mix keeps as well as promised, but the muffins don't because my family eats them up!

These are really good. I used 3 C. whole wheat flour, 2 C. White. I took another reviewer's advice and did 1 C. Brown sugar, 1 C. White. I like that these are so low in fat! A definite keeper!!

We are sitting here eating these right out of the oven. I used a 20 ounce box of cereal and followed the remainder of the recipe as posted. Because we baked them straight away after mixing, the cereal hadn't softened and there was a nice little crunch. We baked them in muffin top pans at 325 degrees for 20 minutes and they were perfect. Next time, I may try substituting whole wheat flour for the A-P flour I used. I also may reduce the amount of sugar because we did find them a touch too sweet. On the reduced amount of sugar, I may reduce the amount by as much as one cup and split it into 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup brown sugar. In any case, this is a great recipe and one that we will keep making. Thank you Aroostook!
