"My mom made a bunch of this up several years back, and we actually ended up sitting on the roof looking out at the bay. Sheesh!"

  1. Wow whee! This is delicious and potent! I didn't have enough rum and used about 4 oz less than called for - which turned out to be perfect for us. This is a great drink to keep in the freezer during the summer months. I'm saving it my Best of 2019 file so I can remember to make it. We loved the slushy consistency. Thank you!

  2. This is a GREAT cocktail. Yum flavored drink that has a whollop without a sickly boozy feeling. This is a great pitcher type of cocktail perfect for a party such as our upcoming Memorial Day or 4th of July. Hey, it was great for Mother’s Day! Hubs and I loved this one. Thanks, Chef PotPie, for sharing this. Too bad our roof is slanted, because we’d have it there. Made it for Players Favorites - 5 Star Gems.

  3. Whoa!!! These do pack a punch! I took the concentrate and Squirt across the street tonight (she had the rum). These were fantastic at 11 p.m. tonight! We didn't quite finish them off by ourselves, but we gave it a good try! LOL. I've gotta get some sleep here soon, before they really kick in. I will post a pic tomorrow (if I remember)! Thanks for our newest summer-time cocktail. (Made for ZWT9 - Caribbean)

  4. Made these day before yesterday, allowed to sit in the freezer and had them last night...ohhh my gosh!!! These will kick you onto your bumm and you won't even care!!! We so enjoyed the tart and sweetness of this drink, but think next time will reduce the rum just a bit cuz I am a true weakling when it comes to alchol. Thank You so much for an enjoyable drink and evening.

  5. I could get seriously drunk on these - they go down so easily!!! Perfect balance of tart and sweet and so refreshing on a hot, Greek summer evening. Thanks.
