Delicious. DH wanted a portion cup of the garlic butter to dip each bite into!. Made by the recipe and grilled to med rare, it came out perfectly done to our liking. I used Kosher salt and a mix of black and white pepper corns ground directly onto the steaks. Yum.

I made this but followed Jackie's idea. I brushed the sirloin with half of the butter/garlic mixture and let the sirloin come to room temperature. I then grilled it til it was medium-well and then topped with the remaining butter mixture and we really enjoyed the steak. Next time I would add some Montreal Steak Seasoning as well!! Thanks for sharing the recipe!!! Made for 123 tag!!

I'm new to Zaar... I made this last night and tried Jackie's idea of brushing the steaks with the garlic butter before adding the salt and butter.... Didn't add it after the steaks were done; there wasn't anything left to save for lunch today... I usually use assorted spices on my steaks, so this was the first time that I just used salt and pepper.. Turned out wonderful. Only thing I would change is how long I grilled them for... a bit too pink for my taste... Would definately recommend this and will make it again. mG

Made for 123 Hits. This is a great recipe and we really enjoyed it. Nice for those times when you want to have steak that is marinated but don't have time or forget (which I often do). Thanks for posting this bmcnichol!

The garlic butter is definitely a nice accompaniment to the sirloin steak. I made exactly as posted and thought it was pretty tasty. However, the garlic butter did not really penetrate the steak as I would have liked. I almost wonder how this would turn out if you brushed the garlic butter on the meat before grilling. Thanks for posting. Made for Please Review My Recipe Tag Game.
