Single Acting Baking Powder

"This does not last as long as commercial baking powder, and is more expensive to make, however, it will last three months in the refrigerator. The substitution is one for one in all cases where baking powder is called for."

• 4 tablespoons cream of tartar
• 3 tablespoons cornstarch
• 2 tablespoons baking soda

directions

1. Put into a bowl and whisk well.
2. Transfer to a small jar, using a piece of parchment as a guide to help you get it inches.
3. Label and date and keep chilled.
