this is a simple, easy but sinfully delicious recipe!
- 1 apple, cut into small pieces (peeled or not, its up to you)
- 4 tablespoons nut butter (i like almond butter and soynut butter)
- 3 tablespoons agave nectar or 3 tablespoons honey
- place apples in a cup.
- layer with nut butter.
- top off with honey!
- these are the amounts i like using, but you can change it.
Healthy. Nice to add some fruit as I usually mix raw honey (but I extra love date syrup) and nut butter for a sweet snack. I used macintosh and granny smith apples which I peeled because they were not organic and Nuts to You Nut Butter in my favourite right now, almond hazelnut. I do like a tbs less sweetener. Super yum! I used crunchy almond butter. I spooned it into a bowl and heated for a few seconds so that it would drizzle nicely on the apples. :)
Yum - what a tasty and healthy treat! I used peanut butter and honey; my apple was fairly small so I only used about half the amounts specified. I warmed the peanut butter just a touch so that I could drizzle it over the apple layers. Thanks for posting this yummy treat! Made for Spring PAC 2009
