Official Contest Entry: Simply Potatoes 5Fix. Ramps are a culinary tradition here in Appalachia. Often cooked with potatoes, this tasty vegetable is harvested for only a few weeks each spring. Ramps freeze well though, so they can be used all year long. This recipe features the traditional combination of potatoes and ramps with a twist -- instead of frying them up for breakfast, here's a hearty soup. Enjoy!
