My friend Teri gave me this recipe a few years ago. It is simply chicken salad with no fancy ingredients but can be served so many ways. Try with croissants, puff pastry, to stuff avocado, tomato etc.

  1. Mix first 6 ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Shred or chop cooked chicken.
  3. Add with remaining ingredients and toss with the dressing.

This was my first time making chicken salad and we loved this recipe. The sour cream gives it a great zip. I prefer pecans so I added those instead of almonds and I didn't have cream so I added one tablespoon of milk. My picky daughter even asked for seconds. We'll definitely be making this again for our next picnic.
