Great recipe. Very easy to make and the family all loved it. I did only 2 chicken breasts with one egg and 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. Kept the sauce and the cheese the same. Also put melted butter in the pan and drizzled some on the top of chicken. Will be making again! UPDATE: Made this for 60 people at my church for a fundraiser dinner. I had to have it done kind of early so didn't cook it all the way through, just most of the way. I kept all of that chicken warm at 200 degrees without sauce (we didn't have enough room in the ovens for that) for about an hour. It said moist! We sauced it whlie serving and just about every plate came back empty!
Easy and yummy! I didn't have any mozz, but it was still excellent with just the paremsan. Served it with fried rice.
Very nice recipe for an easy way to prepare chicken paremsan. My kids really enjoyed the taste. I served it over whole wheat egg noodles and made a nice garlic toast to go with the meal. Thanks for posting a winner for our family meals. Made for Zaar Chef Alphabet Soup.
We really enjoyed the simplicity of this dish. I used homemade spaghetti sauce. This was served on top of spinach fettuccine topped off with additional sauce and Green Beans With Caramelized Onions. The breasts were flattened slightly to promote even cooking and were done in the time specified. Made for PAC Spring 2008.
I'll be passing this recipe along to others! We enjoyed it alot with minor modifications. I used jarred Prego and increased cook time to 45 min uncovered and covered for 15...so really good. Served with "elbow" spag noodles. Awesome! Oh, and we like cheese, so more is always better!
We had our neighbors over for dinner and I have never made chicken parmesan before and this was such a simple and easy recipe! They absolutely loved it! I kept the sauce seperate just in case if someone didn't want any, but it turned out amazing! Will most definitely be making time and time again!!
I always struggle making chicken because it usually turns out dry. I made this recipe and the Chicken turned out perfect. I substituted Italian bread crumbs for Panko and added dried basil, crushed red pepper, paprika, salt and pepper to the panko. I will definitely make this again.
Very easy recipe and very delicious. The whole family loved it, even the 2 picky teenagers! A new family favorite!
Also great with Panko breadcrumbs - maybe a little crunchier than the original recipe.
This was really easy to make and really really great. Nice and lightly crunchy breading. I used a 5 cheese italian blend grated cheese for mine and just added italian seasoning to plain breadcrumbs. Served it with spaghetti noodles and fresh steamed brocolli. Yum! It is definitely on my "make-again" list!
