A favourite, simple quick dish. Best if made right before serving. You can try mixing a high quality Parmesan and provolone cheese. Do not use the shaker Parmesan, it won't have the same effect. If you can't afford the more expensive Parmesan, a white cheddar (not orange) or mozzerella will do the trick.

  1. Slice tomatoes.
  2. Arrange tomatoes on platter.
  3. Sprinkle with balsamic vinegar, basil and top with cheese.
  4. Serve (yes, it's that easy!).
