Simple Stuffing for Turkey or Chicken

"So easy, so delicious and a perfect, frugal use for day-old or stale bread. Makes enough stuffing for a 12-16 pound bird.   • 1 12 lbs loaf bread, dried
  • 12 - 1 lb butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 14 cup onion, peeled and minced

  • Remove crusts, but bread into 1" cubes and place in a large bowl.
  • Cut butter into small cubes; toss together with bread cubes.
