  1. This was so easy to do! A wonderful way to use up little pieces of soap. Thank you!

  2. I took about a half a bar of glycerin soap and "grated" it with a vegetable peeler and then added the boiling water. This was so easy! I will save all my other soap slivers from now on and make this forever. Thank you for saving me money!

  3. I used some glycerin soap, and I followed the recipe as indicated. When I thought it was the right consistency, I put it into pumps. However, the soap kept hardening to the point that it wouldn't come out of the pump, so I had to add more water. I ended up using about twice as much water as the recipe called for. The soap came out all foamy, instead of the gel that I'm used to, but I like it. I added some bright green food coloring, and I'm going to give some to my cousins (ages 3-12). I'm guessing it will be a big hit for kids.

  4. I have made this before but used chamomile tea instead of plain water. The tea is GREAT for your skin! I didn't have to grate the soap as the tea I used was boiling and I used small leftover slivers.

  5. This is WONDERFUL! I used Emami Herbal soap with glycerine to make this. Oh, not only does it smell wonderful, but the little soap pieces when grated look oh so pretty and a real treat to admire for the eyes of the young n old. That sparked an idea - How about grating the soap(mine was "pink" in colour) and then putting it in a small bag and tossing it into the bath tub in hot water for a wonderful relaxing bath;) I'm gonna try that someday! In the meantime, I love this creativity of yours that's brought forth this awesome homemade creation! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely homemade liquid soap! This is way cheaper than the store bought commercial brands, smells awesome, and is ready in 10 minutes! Thanks in millions to you for this one!!
