These really did come out perfectly - and so easy! Instead of butter I sprayed mine with pam olive oil spray. I also used about a 1/2 tsp of garlic seasoning, 1/4 tsp pepper and 1/4 tsp salt. The times you gave were perfect! Thanks!

EXCELLENT! I did add 1 tsp Tastefully Simple Garlic Garlic along with the seasoned salt and added about 1/2 of a onion in a large dice for the last 5 minutes in the microwave. Sprinkled with parsley before serving. Everyone loved it, thanks so much for posting such an easy and excellent recipe. I served with fresh green beans and grilled shrimp.

This was so easy to prepare and the end result is tasty, moist potatoes. It's so much better than waiting 45 minutes or longer for potatoes to roast in the oven. I'll make this recipe often since it's so simple to put together. And while it's perfect as written, I think on some occasions I might try doing as some others have suggested and maybe add a little garlic or garlic powder and maybe toss in a 1/4 cup or so of chopped onion. It's a "keeper" recipe for me! Thanks diner524. Made for your awesome win in the Football Pool.

Like the others, I added some garlic salt as well just because I love garlic salt. I really think it would have been fine without it, though. I must say that I expected these to be "just okay" since they were microwaved, but they were fantastic! This is definitely going to be my go-to recipe for redskins.

I did this recipe specifically because it had microwave directions. I expected them to just be okay. Skins are never great in the microwave, right? I guess the red skins are thin enough that it doesn't matter. They were really good! The only change we made was to add garlic. I used an entire stick of butter and a few more potatoes than listed. Probably a half stick is plenty next time :)

So simply amazing! I followed this exactly, and it came out beautifully! I am very much looking forward to making these often, and might add some lemon/pepper seasoning next time, but it is perfect the way it is! Thanks for posting!

Very easy and quick. My potatoes soaked up every drop of butter. I think for a grilling side dish I would just prefer grilled potatoes, but this is a good way to fix them in hot weather when you don't want to heat up the house. Thanks for posting!
