  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add flour a little at a time.
  • Divide mixture in half and knead each piece 5 minutes or more.
  • Gently roll out into a circle, place on a baking tray and prick all over with a fork.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Cut into 8 wedges and lightly sprinkle with sugar.
  • Leave to cool.
