I loved it! I made the following substitutions: lemon juice instead of wine, italian seasoning mix instead of basil, no garlic, and no parmesan cheese. It reminded me of the "Hot and Naked" pasta dish I had in Omaha's Spaghetti Factory restaurant, and was super simple to make. I think even my confirmed tomato sauce on pasta DD will enjoy this, even though she has liked no other white sauce in her entire life! Thanks for such a flavorful, simple pasta topper!

Wonderful idea, but sure is garlicky! I don't have cultured butter, so I used plain ol' salted. I wasn't sure if the recipe called for dried basil or fresh, so I bravely used 1 teaspoon dried. I also used the optional parmesan cheese and wolfed this down over 2 oz cooked rotini pasta. It was only later that the garlic hit me! :-) Next time I make this, I'll be a little more prudent with the garlic. Otherwise, a fantastic, easy recipe!
