- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1⁄2 cup green olives
- 1⁄2 cup raisins
directions
- 1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion, green pepper and garlic over medium-high heat. Drain.
- 2. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Optional: Add more garlic for stronger flavor.
- 3. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4. Serve hot over white rice.
