  1. I had a ball of a time with this smoothie today. Here's my little story: I'd just finished making a dish of the Pick Your Chef contest for my bro. and mom, and I made this smoothie for myself. This made half a glass and I was about to sit down to have it when my bro. began to drool over it in the midst of munching down a piece of the Afghani Chicken I'd just finished grilling in the oven. His eyes started to roll over it( I presume it was just like how Harry Potter's cousin Dudley's must've rolled on seeing Fred's sweets all over his floor when he was on a diet during his holidays!). My bro. asked me for a sip which I gave him and he liked it sooo much, that he grabbed the glass out of my hands and started sipping it down and I was left saying, "Hey thats my lunch!!". LOL. My dear dad who was having the other half of the mango I'd chopped minutes ago to make my smoothie, gladly gave me the remaining(about 5 chopped pieces) and made me make the smoothie for myself while he had the seed and whatever flesh remained. My mom was grinning all the while while having her grilled chicken. It was funny! And sweet! It brought a smile to everyone of us and made the lunch full of fun! Thank You for that and the brilliant smoothie!

Tweaks

  1. I forgot to take a picture, but if you’re in a hurry you could just chop the frozen mango up and add whole milk. Taste good!

  2. It's simple and it tastes great! I added a cup of Mango instead (so the flavor is stronger), I also added vanilla extract, cinnamon, raw honey, Greek yogurt (to thicken it up a bit), and ice.

I am a full time stay-at-home mom of two kids, a girl who's 8 and a very busy 5 yr old son, who has just started Kindergarden and loving it.As am I, I'm starting to sense what freedom from the SAHM life is!!! I have been married to my wonderful husband for ten years. I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, camping, doing various crafts and spending time with my family. I completed my Doula training in fall of 2004 and had the opportunity to attend a few other births. I really enjoy attending births and assisting women during this amazing time.I have expanded on my doula work by working privately for a family post-partum, 2 days a week. This keeps me busy, but I know that this is not my forever job. However now that my kids are both in school, I have started to think about "what I want to be when I grow up!!" Zaar is an addiction started by my good friend,Pamela and has spread to include several other friends.
