  1. I liked the sweet taste, but the texture was so wrong and didn't rise, it ended up really chewy. I think what went wrong was that there wasn't enough sodium bicarb, but at least it was sweet enough

  2. 10 minutes for 4T of sugar? I tried it and did not wait till 10 minutes. I stopped right before it smells burning. Added the baking soda and it foamed beautifully but then it burned really fast. What a disaster. LOL. I wonder what I did wrong. ?? had fun hoping though.

  3. There wasn't quite enough bicarb to make this rise as much as I'd have liked, so was dense in places. Made a 2nd batch with 2 teaspoons, after reading the proportions in other recipes, and it was much bigger/lighter. Taste was good in both batches though

  4. I found this a little hard to judge when it was ready before it started to boil so what I done is I cooked the syrup and sugar and a saucepan which I placed inside another which was full of water, i found its easier to manage.

  5. This Recipe was easy and only has three ingredients
