I think the mustard plus relish are too overwhelming and eliminate the egg taste, which I love. I prefer adding celery instead, with a sprinkling of dill.

Delicious ! I doubled the recipe. My Husband and I thought it tasted like potato salad. I guess it was the mustard. Thank you for the recipe.

This is the closest I have ever found to what I want egg salad to taste like! I added a little salt.

I usually make egg salad with all the ingredients you've mentioned.........with the exception of the relish. I made this today and added the relish (although my DH was skeptical - lol) and we both loved it and I'll be making it this way from now on. Thanks for sharing!

I simply love this recipe! Pure and simple. Just like momma used to make when I was little. I have it committed to memory, and will use this method often. Thank you for sharing.

I used a little bit more of light mayonnaise. So yummy. Thanks Ann Marie :)

easy, simple recipe for egg salad. I hadn't made it in years so I wanted something that helped refresh me on what the basic ingrediants were. This did just that. However in the end, felt as though it were missing some sort of spice, not sure what.

Yum! Very simple and good. I usually add celery to mine, but enjoyed the relish. Thanks Ann Marie for sharing. Made for Zaar Alphabet Chef Tag.

Best egg salad sandwich on Zaar - I have either tried the others, or did not have all the ingredients asked for. This is simple enough to make with items that are always in my fridge. I saw another reviewer had added chopped celery, so I did that, and was quite pleased. I like relish so I tried that after tasting it first without the relish - and found that it's not bad, either way. I like the crispiness of the celery combined with the softness of the eggs. Added Caramelized Onions and about 1 teaspoon leftover powdered sugar from another recipe I made off Zaar (#88812). Don't like mustard, but this was the right amount to make it taste good. Awesome!

I am about 5 months pregnant and the cravings are hitting me hard. So, at about 7:30pm this evening I had the strangest craving for egg salad sandwich. I looked on recipezaar (as I frequently do) and I read thru several recipes and tried this one, and let me tell you I am more than satisfied!!! I have eaten 2 sandwiches already, it was great!!

Very good recipe...I usually add a little splenda to the mix though if I'm in the mood for a little sweet taste. Pretty healthy but curbs that sweet tooth!

The BEST egg salad sandwich I have ever eaten! I packed these for a picnic lunch over the weekend and they were gobbled up in no time. I also added a bit of minced onion, and forgot the shredded lettuce at home. This will be a new staple for many lunches to come!! Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Yummy! This was really easy and good in a hurry. I added a little more mayo, other than that everything was the same. Thanks for a great recipe!

My 13 year old daughter was in the mood for an egg salad sandwich so she decided to look up some recipes here. This one was perfect and she got right on it. She liked that it was very simple. She chilled it before eating and it tasted delicious. I can hear her proudly smacking her lips as she is eating her sandwich right now. :) We took a picture of it and will post it here for all to see. She complimented it with some Berry Blue Typhoon Hawaiian Punch...as you can see in the picture :)

Simple perfection. I used sweet pickle relish but dill relish would be equally good. Makes an excellent sandwich. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
