Simple Eggnog Pie

"I made this pie by accident a few Christmas's ago. I had planned to make a simple pudding pie, but didn't have enough milk. You can change it greatly just by changing the pudding flavor - my personal favorite is butterscotch, or the pie shell, using vanilla wafers or cookies."

• Yields: 2 Pies

ingredients

• 1 box instant pudding mix (vanilla is usually best to begin with)
• 1 cup milk, preferable whole milk
• 1 cup eggnog
• 8 ounces Cool Whip
• 2 graham cracker pie crusts
• 1⁄2 cup nuts (optional)

directions

1. Pour the eggnog and milk into a medium bowl.
2. Add pudding mix, blend well.
3. Gently fold in cool-whip.
4. Divide evenly into the two pie shells.
5. May be topped with nuts.
6. Chill appx. 2 hours, or until firm.

We just found this recipe and its wonderful.. I made it with a regular crust and 2 graham cracker crust.. They all taste wonderful, Thanks for the great recipe!!!
