Simple Crock-Pot Carnitas

"Easy recipe with few ingredients to get flavorful, delicious carnitas. This does not have the citrus flavor of many carnitas recipes. After I remove my meat from the Crock Pot, I crisp it up a little under the broiler."

directions

  • Combine spices and seasonings in a small bowl; rub into pork. (I then let it sit at room temp for about 15 minutes, though I don't really know if this helps).
  • Place in Crock Pot and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. Chop or shred meat, and stir in a little of the cooking liquid to moisten.
  • Great for tacos, burritos, tortas and more!

  1. I made these and then used the meat in tacos with the works... Very tasty indeed!
