Love the addition of pesto which makes it stand out from just plain white sauces. I used skim milk and it worked out just fine. Thank you.

Excellent creamy pesto. I made it minus the mushrooms & ham, added sun-dried tomatoes, and used Asiago for the cheese component. The dish turned out restaurant quality, but much healthier than you'd be served most places. I'll be adding this to the dinner rotation. Thanks for sharing!

We both liked this and it was a quick and easy weekday dinner. We both thought it would be better with chicken than ham and I used sharp cheddar and wished that I had used parmesan instead. I served this with a ceasar salad. I also cut down the butter to 1 tbsp for the first amount in order to cut some of the fat. All in all, a good creamy pasta recipe that doesn't have quite as much fat as most. Thanks for posting!

Yum this was good, creamy yet not as bad as something like alfredo. I followed the recipe but made two substitutions - I used capicollo ham and used soy milk instead of regular milk. Thanks, I loved this recipe!

You saved me! Tons of leftover angel hair pasta and a tiny container of pesto and needed dinner! So I followed your recipe to a cheesy, creamy pesto pasta dish and we all loved it! A great side (didn't have any ham) so made this as a side with our salmon dinner and again, was a great save!

This is a really good, family, weekday meal. I used the amount of pasta quoted but doubled everything else (in fact I tripled the mushrooms). Loved by both my under 5 year old daughters and will be made again. Thanks for posting.
