I'm a SAHM right meow, sadly not just because it's good for the little one, but mostly because childcare is too expensive. So if I've gotta be here anyway, I've decided that making my time in the kitchen fun and exciting should be priority. I do derive genuine joy from 'wowing' my dude in culinary ways... But he's been around the world and originated from Southern California, so he's a hard nut to crack. I consider it a small victory when he samples what I've made him and his eyes light up.
