I made this and just added ground turkey to the tomato sauce. It was one of the best baked ziits I have ever had!

I made this using a little less spaghetti sauce and it worked, but I think next time I'd use the full amount to ensure that all the pasta is covered and doesn't get dried out. It is simple to make and the results were delicious! Thanks for a meal that was enjoyed by all!

Delicious and so easy to prepare! My husband had two servings and he normally eats like a bird so it must be good!

Yum! Delicious meat free meal. I used a 500 gram packet of penne pasta, 2 500 gram jars of summer tomato basil pasta sauce and used the same amounts of cheese. Served with crusty rolls. Thanks Mirj. :)
