Grilled cheese may be easy, but this is easier! It may sound too easy to be a "recipe", but it never occurred to me to make this, and now that my friend Angel introduced it to me, I make it all the time. My kids love it with tomato soup.
Directions:
1
Toast bread and set on plate.
2
Spread butter.
3
Lay slices of cheese on top, and microwave for about 25 seconds, until cheese is just melted.
4
Enjoy!

NOTE: Processed cheese may not work as well as normal cheese.
Ratings & Reviews:
I love cheese toast, but I will make it in my toaster oven. Just put some sliced cheese on some bread and pop it in there. Cheddar on whole wheat English muffins is also great :) Add some turkey, and you have an open-faced sandwich for snack!

And here I was thinking I'd invented this just a couple of weeks ago. :)
