Simple Baked Oatmeal (Lower Fat)

READY IN: 45mins
Recipe by WI Cheesehead

Recipe from a friend that I tweaked for our needs. If you don't have the oat bran or flax, just use another 1/2 C oats.

Oh my, but this is yummy! I made this at the request of my 16 year old son (and oatmeal-head, I guess there are worst vices). SOOOOOO GOOD! Not too dense, not too sweet. Just perfect. I also tried some warmed with a little milk, might be even better that way. I am glad that I found something that my DH can grab on his way to work and I don't have to worry too much about fats and such. I made it as written but left out the fruit/chocolate chips, and I didn't have the oat bran, so I used an extra 1/4 cup oats. Thank you so much for this recipe, I will use it often ;0)
