Very tasty! Next time I think I will use more apples since one layer was thin. I will make this again.

I made this yesterday with Splenda because we're on a low-carb diet, I couldn't believe how good it was! I served it with homemade creme fraiche ... delicious! Thank you for sharing your grandma's recipe!

Num num num, hooray for old dusty attics! So glad you shared. I sprinkled some brown sugar on top but otherwise did not change it.

An easy & simple recipe which is ideal to end any meal. I used home grown apples from my backyard - perfect! Next time, however I will add less butter.

You are so right this is still a bomb dessert. Simple,Deliciuos and DOWN HOME GOOD. I will sure be making it again & again. we love apple crisp.

I used Red Delicious apples and I didn't peel them. Great recipe! I did add blueberries which cooked down and added a bit of liquid. However, that's my fault for not adjusting the water properly. We paired this with ice cream and the entire dish was gone that night. Thanks for sharing! Delish.

This is so wonderful. I don't like apple crisp with brown sugar or oatmeal and this recipe is the one I remember from the Peter Pan marriage and lost when I moved out of the housel I just served it to company and they loved it and I forgot to buy the vanilla ice cream. Great recipe.

Simple, indeed, and oh, so delicious! I think I mixed the topping too long, forgetting to stop when it was crumbly, so I'll be more careful next time, but the idea that it was still so darn good despite that mistake says something. It says delicious. Thank you for sharing this!
