Very good, cut back on the onion a bit and sliced very thin, I cut the tomatoes into thinnish rounds then layed them neatly on the plate and layed the thin slices of onion over the tomatoes. I then minced 1 large clove of garlic very fine and put it in the olive oil and zapped it in the microwave for about 15 seconds let it cool and drizzled over the tomatoes. No basil so I just used the oregano dried which I sprinkle on over the tomatoes and a sprinkling of parm. cheese, this was gone in no time. Thank you for the nice addition to my son's birthday BBQ buffet.

A very good salad for the summer. Very easy to make and healthy too. I added the salt at the last minute before serving, in order to made the tomatoes fresh and keep there juices! Thanks!

It was good but too much onion, next I will use half of onions, otherwise very refreshing salad.

After reading Toni's review, I decreased the amount of onion and added a little more basil (about 6 leaves). Wonderful and just right for a spaghetti dinner. Thanks

I made these using 6 Campari tomatoes which are smaller and sweeter than typical varieties. Not a big fan of raw tomatoes so I am going more by guest reactions than my own. Everyone thought the dredding was very good but would have liked a little more basil. The more common reaction was that it was just too much onion, even after they were sort of wilted down by marinating. Will certainly make this again as it travelled rather well.
