This is a family favourite! We usually double the seafood. I am making this again tomorrow and may add the spicy sausage as someone suggested. Have always served with bread, but may serve with both rice and bread.

Couldn't source Clam juice, but substituted commercial fish broth and boiled shrimp shells in commercial low salt chicken broth. Just delicious! Good with mussels too.

We thought this recipe was a real disappointment (and a waste of good seafood). We didn't feel the veggies were cooked thoroughly and the flavor was bland yet too acidic. I think it definitely needed some kind of carb but I wouldn't make it again.

Delicious! Hearty dinner for a cold winter's night. I added a bit of fresh dill at serving.

Great recipe! I served it with a garden salad and garlic parmesan cheese bread. It was a nice change from fried seafood. Thanks!

This is a GREAT dish! I used a cabernet and it turned out wonderful. I also added some spicy sausage as was written in the reviews and overall I think it helped the dish a lot. I will be making this often. Thank you!

This was SOOOO good. We used some swordfish in it as well. It's funny that whenever we are looking for a recipe the one we decide on turns out to be yours time and again. My next stop is to go right to your cookbook! Thanks!

Didn't want a stew, so I didn't put in clam juice or marjoram. I put over rice next time I will try pasta. Very good.

This stew is fantastic and I've made it twice in the past two weeks. As someone born and raised in New England, I've always prefered my seafood in chowders, not in a tomato based recipe. But, I've become lactose intolerant and in desperation tried this recipe. I'm converted. The only change I made was to substitute a half tsp of Old Bay Seasoning for the red pepper flakes. This is also an economical soup with only a half pound each of the shrimp and scallops. Next time I'm going to try crab meat in place of the scallops.
