  1. This is not a dip, it's a multi-purpose, find-new-ways-to-use-it dish. I made it yesterday to take to a drinks party where it was inhaled and raved about. Today I had some shrimp left, so I made it again. This time I added extra bell pepper, 1/4 of a medium onion (chopped) and a handful of green beans (sliced on the diagonal). Then I heated it through and served it over pasta. Thanks glitter for a versatile winner.

  2. Really great dip! Made it for our boat trip and it was a hit with the DB. Thanks for the post!

  3. A very tasty dip. Loved the finely chopped green peppers, and the flavor and texture overall. Thanks glitter, for a keeper.

  4. Mmmmm! I have not even chilled this dip yet and it is already heavenly! My husband accidently picked up a pound of shrimp, when he misread soemthing on my grocery list, which gave me a great excuse to come up with two shrimp dishes. I am cooking a shrimp chowder for dinner, and I made up this dip (with chopped veggies) for us to take in our lunches to work this week. I am so glad that I did - this dip is yummy! The only changes that I made was to use diced scallions instead of green peppers, and I added a few dashes of hot sauce. We will definitely enjoy this unexpected treat! Thanks!

  5. Glitter, this is a very tasty little dip you have here. I halved the recipe as I was making it only for myself and DH. I was out of green pepper so I used minced yellow pepper instead and had 2 lonely green onions left so I minced those as welll and threw them in. I felt the falvor was better after it sat overnight. Thanks for the decadent treat!

I am an avid cook and recipe collector. I've been cooking since I was 9 yrs. old. I am the first American from my family so I cook many different European dishes, everything from west to east. If I had a month just to do what I would like to do...I would like to cook that month with a famous chef. I also write a bulletin for a Service to Mankind organization. Since I collect recipes anywhere I can see them, I've been asked to share them with my readers. So this site is wonderful not just for me!
