This dish is too bland. While it could be acceptable on a night when you lack time and need something quick, it is definitely not something for a special dinner or for entertaining. In any case, it lacks zing and needs something such as lemon juice or whipping cream for flavor (maybe some diced tomatoes?). Otherwise, it is simply too bland. Sorry but this recipe won't be repeated in our household.

This was a good dish. I have to admit that I didn't have fresh basil, and had to use basil from the spice rack. However, my husband doesn't care for too much fresh basil anyway. I had to add a little salt, some fresh lemon juice, and red pepper flakes to add some flavor to the sauce. I also tossed in some pine nuts. I would have preferred a bit more sauce in the dish. I would probably even double the sauce for a second go around (and I'll use fresh basil, too).

I only used 1/2 lb. of shrimp, but other than that, made the recipe as stated. The next time, I'll probably use less linguine or double the sauce. DH and I both thought it was a bit dry, but it was delicious.

This is the core of a dish I have been making for awhile now. You can substitute or even add chicken or scallops to this. I like the pepper flakes idea, but I found an Emeril recipe that is made exactly the same way (Emeril's Shrimp Scampi), but using his Emeril Essense spice and it is a nice, somewhat spicy version of this.

This dish is fabulous! My DH and I have made it several times now--it has become a regular in our household. I have also made it for guests, and like Little Bee says, it definitely impressed our company, who thanked me repeatedly (having no idea how easy it was for me to make). Thank you for this keeper!!!

DH and I loved this so much!!! He finished up leftovers the next morning between "Yums" He suggested we try it with squid also. Sounds like a good idea - it's that versatile!

I have adopted this as one of my signature recipes. It was delicious and my husband loved it. Next time I may just add sun-dried tomatoes to make it my own but this was great. Taste like it was cooked in a restaurant. Very simple but good..

This was a very quick enjoyable meal. Served with a salad and garlic bread. Leftover shrimp is on my salad for lunch.

This made a terrific meal for a busy weeknight. It went together so quick, and yet the flavors were outstanding - garlic, fresh basil, fresh parsley, butter, shrimp - WOW! It tasted so fresh. The only thing I changed was adding some red pepper flakes - we love things spicy. I don't know why this recipe hasn't been discovered yet, but I'm sure glad I found it. We'll make this one again (and double the recipe).
