- 907.18 g large shrimp, head-on
- 118.29 ml butter
- 4.92 ml salt (sea salt or kosher, if you have it)
- 4.92 ml black pepper, ground
- 3.69 ml dried thyme
- 1.23 ml celery seed
- 14.79 ml rosemary, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 118.29 ml red onion, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 29.58 ml shallots, minced (optional)
- 44.37 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 22.18 ml hot sauce
- 9.85 ml cajun seasoning or 9.85 ml Old Bay Seasoning
- 226.79 g beer, amber style preferably (Killians, Newcastle)
- 59.14 ml olive oil
- 14.79 ml butter
directions
- Saute garlic, onion and shallot in melted butter along with salt, pepper, thyme, celery seed, rosemary and bay leaves until translucent.
- Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes as they turn pink.
- Pour in beer, add worchestireshire, hot sauce and cajun spices. Cook 2-3 minutes more until completely pink.
