Oh, CC!! This recipe is so good! We really enjoyed our meal this evening thanks to your posting. I made this exactly as directed, only since it was just the two of us, I cut the shrimp to 1 1/2 lbs. Simple to make yet really delicious! A definate keeper! Thanks, CC!!

As good as restaurant fare! Maybe I'm weird but I think it's best with boiled cabbage with LOTS of hot sauce on everything! LOL.

I used a spicy seasoned salt, but otherwise pretty much followed the recipe. Very Easy & Very Elegant!

Good recipe. I'v made it several times and it always turns out well. The last time I added: 1/2 fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded along with other veggies. Should have used a whole one. 1 clove garlic along with veggies. 1/2 C white wine. I use Sake File to taste For some reason it came out runny so I added Corn starch and water to thicken Ummmmmmmmm

Good stuff here. I only used 2 lbs. of shrimp, but that was plenty. I tossed in 4 good shots of Tabasco, but it could have used more, it needed a little kick. Overall, a nice etouffee. Thanks!

I've always been scared to make this dish but it was easy to follow and turned out AWESOME! This is my new dish if I want to WOW people. I added a little Tony's seasoning also.
