  • Saute chopped onion, celery and garlic in oil until cooked (not brown).
  • Add everything else but the Shrimp and chopped green pepper and cooked rice.
  • Simmer for 45 minutes.
  • Mix corn starch with 2 teaspoons of water and stir into the sauce.
  • Cook and stir until thickened.
  • Add Shrimp and chopped green pepper.
  • Simmer 5 minutes.
  • Serve over rice.
