Low-country boils and Beaufort stew would not be the same with out this main condiment!
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon horseradish (or more)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Mix all together, taste.
- Add more ketchup if too hot for you--add more horseradish if not hot enough.
- Chill until ready to serve.
Couldn't be easier or faster to make. Saves a lot of $$$ and tastes better than the bought stuff in my opinion. Will have a small bottle of this in my fridge from now on. It has unlimited uses!! Thanks ShawnC.
Fantastic recipe. I bet most people have no idea how simple it is to make a shrimp cocktail. I just used your recipe, with a small addition of Tabasco and cooked the shrimp straight from frozen (the peeled, deveined type) in a microwave steam bags for 3 minutes then just let it cool in the fridge. An appetizer was on the table in no time. Thank you.
