Admittedly I made a few changes. I couldn't find a shallot so I used regular onion, skipped the egg yolks and added 1/4 cup more cheese then added 2-3 tablespoons cornstarch to thicken. It was absolutely delicious!! Thanks for sharing your great recipe.

THis is absolutely wonderful!!!! I used linguine instead of fetticine as that is what I had on hand. I will make this again :-)

This recipe was fabulous, my whole family loved it! I didn't change a thing nor would I advise anyone else to change it. This is one recipe that I will continue to use over and over again!

Absolutely declicous! Wonderful! 2 thumbs up from every member of my household (Total of 10)! Very simple to make, yet memorable! We did use spaghetti instead of fettucini, because that's what we had on-hand, but the flavor is very fresh, very rich, and a definite keeper! I added a light sprinkling of nutmeg on top too. No leftovers!!! :)

BIG HIT!! Hubby has a favorite commercial brand, but I feel it has too salty of a flavor and expensive. All he could say was, "I love it, don't forget how you made it." We prefer angel hair pasta and I browned bulk italian sausage as I didn't make a special trip to the store for the shrimp. Next time I'll have to double the recipe because hubby was searching for left overs the next day. Thanks for sharing!!

I came upon this recipe while searching for ways to use 6 egg yolks I had left over from making a pavlova (with meringue) for my daughter's birthday. I sauteed some mushrooms for at least a little bit of healthy veggies, used cream and added the 2 extra egg yolks. I think I used linguine for the pasta. I believe that next year, I will make this for the main course with a very simple green salad, and have the pavlova for afters. It's probably worth it to indulge ourselves as long as it's only once a year!

Many online recipies dont live up to the hype. This one does! Its excellent! I added just a tad more diced scallions and garlic. Thanks for a great recipe!

Everyone LOVED this!! I made it exactly as the recipe said and it was delicious - we don't get huge great shrimp readily here, so I used smaller ones, but the creamy sauce along with the shrimp and pasta was just delicious.

Alfredo soup. After 4 mins. went by and sauce was still not thickening, I started to get concerned. But it soon started to curdle and all was lost. I hate bad instructions. Ruined my meal. This recipe is not worth it.
