- 3 -4 lbs chuck roast
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1⁄2 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon savory salt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- water, to cover
- 2 cups barbecue sauce

directions
- Place roast, bouillon cubes, spices and tomato paste in Dutch Oven. Cover with water. Bring to a boil; simmer covered for four hours.
- Uncover and simmer four more hours.
- Add barbecue sauce and cook uncovered until tender and falling apart. Remove bones and fat. Shred what has not fallen apart and serve on buns.
