Great texture, but really salty. I would probably halve the salt. Other than that it was quite nice, though.
This recipe made great muffins! I would half the salt though, it almost ruined it! I topped the muffins with chocolate gravy!
This was DELICIOUS! So easy to make, yet so satisfying! I served with fresh strawberries and a little maple syrup. Very more-ish, it didn't last long here!

I halved the salt per others' suggestion. I think this would be better suited as a fruit pizza crust as it's a little too sweet for strawberry shortcake. Just my personal opinion, so I'm not faulting the recipe for that. Tastes like sugar cookies.
Tonight, I had a craving for strawberry shortcake so I decided to try this recipe. This was an excellent and very easy recipe! I had everything on hand and was surprised that egg was not one of the ingredients listed. I will be making this shortcake again, however, I will use less salt. I thought it was a little too salty for me. I'm not a salt fan...Overall, great recipe. Thanks.
This is quicker and easier than going to the store to buy shortcake. And waaaay better tasting! I didn't find it too sweet at all. Don't agree about it being a "fruit pizza" crust... it's just a great shortcake. Will go perfectly with our berries and ice cream tonight. Thank you!
Loved the results! Used it to make strawberry shortcake and it turned out perfectly. Loved how it soaked the strawberry juice. With a dollop of fresh whipped cream, my family lived it. This is a definite keeper!
Made this for New Year's Eve dessert and it was awesome. Not too sweet, perfect texture and the crumb topping makes a delicious crunch. I also did half the salt but I think as long as you are using unsalted butter, the called for amount it will be fine. Thanks Mary!
