This is the recipe I made years ago and was searching for again. Add 1/4 cup more sugar, press in a large deep dish glass pie plate after well blending (it never sticks together for a ball for me), cut, then bake 25 minutes at 300 then turn the heat to 345 and bake until brown (about 15-25 more minutes) I have always used regular sugar although I will try the fruit sugar and brown sugar the next times I make this. This is suppose to be a five star rating but it is showing no stars (I starred it with five stars a few days ago before writing the review)

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F.
  2. Mix flour and sugar.
  3. Rub in butter until soft but not oily.
  4. Gather into a ball, roll out 1/4 - 1/2 in thick.
  5. Cut and bake in oven, 25-35 minutes.
