Loved this spice mix - My husband was raised in Holland and Shoarma was a favorite dish - this recipe is so close to his memory - We also want to use this recipe as a "secret ingredient" in our cooking - Thank you Annelies!!

This spice mix is ABSOLUTELY Fabulous! My fiance was craving shoarma...as he hasnt had it for almost 3 years since he was in India last... I decided to give it a go, and he was RAVING about how good it came out. I marinated my chicken just as you said to, and grilled to perfection. Put my chicken in grilled pita with loads of tzatziki, some chopped red onion, tomato and lettuce just as he likes it, and he was in shoarma heaven! Thank you SO MUCH... :) this recipe rocks!

A very good seasoning mix. I've never had shaorma before, but this was very good and easy to prepare. I used about 1 1/2 tsp for 2 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken thighs, along with some olive oil and the juice of 1/2 a lemon. I let it marinate a few hours then put the chicken on the grill. I served it with grilled peppers and onions and tzatziki. My husband and I really enjoyed it. The taste is similar to vindaloo, but without the heat. Will use again! Thanks!
