Great way to cook corn. I made with my roast beef dinner this past Sunday, and I can tell you this is the only way I am going to cook corn from now on. Gone are the days of soggy corn for us. This way the corn is juicy and cooked to perfection just the way we love it. Thanks Linda!

Sure was a great new way for me to serve up corn on the cob. Everyone loved that they could actually taste the butter on their corn, and NO water on our plates!!! Yeeeeeee ha!!!

There is absolutely no reason to put salt in the water, unless you're boiling the corn. Steam is pure H2O. The salt is left behind in the water (distillation). It will only help corrode your pot.

We have ALWAYS cooked our corn on the cob in this manner and cannot believe people would boil good sweet corn in a big pot of water - very time consuming and very soggy. Thanks for confirming that we are not crazy for cooking corn this way. Whew!!!

Easy and quick. The corn was nice and tender. Thanks for sharing, I like the standing on end method.
