    This is a copy of a family friend's recipe for fudge. She is a great cook who uses the "bad for you" ingredients...but it sure tastes good!

    Directions:

      In a medium saucepan, combine cocoa, sugar, cream, butter corn syrup and salt.

      Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring contantly. Boil for 1 minute.

      Remove from heat and add vanilla, beat until thick and creamy.

      When beater marks on side of pan and holds its shape, stop beating.
    5. 5
      Add any additional items if desired (nuts, coconut, peanut butter, whatever).
    6. 6
      Stir and pour into buttered dish, let cool.
