From a supermarket recipe card.
- 1⁄2 lb shiitake mushroom, stems removed, sliced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 dash salt
- 1 teaspoon chopped dried hot pepper
- Heat oil in medium skillet or wok. Add mushrooms and stir fry over medium heat for about 3 minutes, or until tender.
- Add soy sauce, sugar and salt. Stir fry for 10-15 minutes or until the liquid has evaporated.
- Sprinkle hot pepper on mushrooms and serve.
